Our support Staff

Within Safebreaks Devon CIC We have a team of around 40 support workers all with a passion for providing the very best support.

Before introducing you to the leadership team we want to say a huge thank you to all of our team, without you, we wouldn’t be able to provide the support we do.


Management and leadership team

Zena Fisher – Director

Zena, Director of Safebreaks has worked in Health and Social Care for over 30 years. Zena set up Safebreaks in 2010 as she felt there was an un-met need for adults with additional needs transitioning out of child services. This was predominantly providing day services twice a week and support in the community. Since 2010 Safebreaks has grown to support over 70 service users with varying levels of needs. Safebreaks now provides a wide range of services such as Supported Living, Enabling, Social Activities and a wide range of day activities both centre based and within the community.

Luke Williams – General Manager

Luke has been working at Safebreaks since 2015, within this time he has undertaken many roles within the business: Community Enabler, Support Worker and Club leader. Luke now oversees the daily operations here at Safebreaks

Molly Fisher – Community Support Manger

Molly has worked in care as a teenager and young adult. She has worked in many areas of care from Emergency Respite, Action For Children, Community Support, working at Splash and much more. within Molly’s role as community support manager she oversees the support of all service users within the community: promoting independent living outcomes & managing risk whilst providing a platform for all service users to communicate the desired outcomes

Glen Darby – Respite & IT Manager

Glen has been working at Safebreaks since 2016 as a Support Staff member. Glen has now been managing the Safebreaks Training House since 2019. Within this role, Glen supports staff to promote a client-centred approach which can be tailored to the individual, giving them the ability to learn all the aspects of independent living and encouraging them to reach their best potential in their aim to become self-sufficient or whichever standard they have set their goals to.

Lauren Boon – Day centre Lead

Lauren has worked at Safebreaks since 2011 – Within her long service Lauren has worked in many areas of the company including working as an Enabler, Key Worker, Respite and Supported Living support staff member and weekend club leader. Lauren is now the Safebreaks Day Service lead during the week and alternative Saturdays. Within the role, Lauren strives to ensure an excellent level of person-centred care whilst leading her valued support team and coordinating activities within sessions on the day.
